To the Parents/Guardians of Miller School Students:
2. CHANGE-ing the World Charity Drive: During the week of February 9th through 13th Miller School students and staff will be doing a coin drive for the Holliston food pantry. The goal is to have every student donate spare change from their piggy bank, from one penny to one dollar. If you would rather not use money from your piggy bank, you could collect your family's empty bottles and cans and redeem them for money at the grocery store or at a redemption center.
A very special thank you to fourth grader, Kathleen Russo and Russo Insurance Agency, for coordinating this event and making a difference in our community! 3. Special Olympics Hosted at Holliston High School: Special Olympics MA in conjunction with five MA School Districts will be hosting students with intellectual disabilities to showcase their track and field skills at Holliston High School on Friday, April 10, 2015. This will be the 3rd Annual 5 Town School Day Games! Student volunteers will help organize and manage the day’s activities and will promote inclusion, acceptance, and respect through this event. If you would like to make a donation to support this event, please click on the link below. http://hhs.holliston.k12.ma.us/special-olympics-2015 4. The PTSA and SEPAC are co-hosting 2 speakers/discussion nights in February:
5. Music & Arts Fundraiser: Music and art students throughout our schools brought home Mrs. Fields Cookies fundraising catalogs last week. This is the spring fundraiser through which Holliston Music and Arts Parents Association raises funds for teacher grants, scholarships and more. Try some of the delicious and convenient Mrs. Fields cookie dough or Auntie Annie's hot pretzels - perfect for a warm treat on a cold night. Cheesecakes and other sweet delights are also available. Please place your order by February 6th. |
