To the Parents/Guardians of Miller School Students:
Please read these important reminders and mark your calendars!
Congratulations to the students on achieving 500 shine cards for being nice! The most popular suggestion for our first SHINE celebration reward was a homework free night. Teachers will pick a day that works for the class and replace the usual homework with a SHINE “good deed” activity. Great job everyone! On your next visit to school, look for one of our new SHINE banners.

As in the past, postural screening (scoliosis screening) will be conducted on students beginning in grade 5.
These exams are mandated by the state. A religious exemption, medical exemption or a doctor's note submitted before the screening is acceptable to excuse your child from any portion of the exam. Please call me at 429-0670 if you have any questions or concerns.
If your student has any unusual findings, you will be notified and encouraged to take your child to a physician as a precaution. ~~~Lynne Bowler RN, CPNP, Miller School Nurse
