Today during the Student SHINE Committee Meeting we focused on the "I" in SHINE, independence. When students are independent, they take care of themselves. Wendy Krauss, Miller School's Occupational Therapist, described the upcoming Marathon Fitness Challenge (an opportunity for srudents to demonstrate independence by staying physically fit). This challenge encourages students to run or walk at home over the course of a 12 week period, beginning on Monday, March 6, 2017. The key pieces to know:
