Dismissal

Beginning at 1:45pm, all families will enter through the main entrance of the elementary complex and proceed to the Miller front entrance loop, to begin cueing for car pick up in the middle loop by the cafeteria. Once again, a staff member will scan your QR code to another staff member who will communicate you are here to your child. Students will be brought to your cars in a timely manner. All cars should remain stationary until a Miller staff member waves you out.  This is EXTREMELY important for the safety of our students. Please do not arrive prior to 1:45pm. 

Early Release Day Dismissal

Beginning at 10:15am, families with the last names A-D will enter through the main entrance of the elementary complex and take the second left into the loop that is in front of Placentino School. A staff member will scan your QR code to another staff member who will communicate you are here to your child. Students will be brought to your cars in a timely manner. All cars should remain stationary until a Miller staff member waves you out.  This is EXTREMELY important for the safety of our students. Please do not arrive prior to 10:15am.

Beginning at 10:25am, families with the last names E-Z will enter through the main entrance of the elementary complex and proceed to the Miller front entrance loop, to begin cueing for car pick up in the middle loop by the cafeteria. Once again, a staff member will scan your QR code to another staff member who will communicate you are here to your child. Students will be brought to your cars in a timely manner. All cars should remain stationary until a Miller staff member waves you out.  This is EXTREMELY important for the safety of our students. Please do not arrive prior to 10:25am.

Buses will begin to depart Miller school at 10:30am.

PM Walker, Cyclist, and MiVillage Dismissal at Miller: 

• Walkers, cyclists, and MiVillage students will exit the main door led by a staff member.

• Parent/Guardians/MiVillage staff should wait on the sidewalk near the stop sign and have their ID ready to show.

Our school website has static information, but it is also updated with current news, photos and bulletins. Each month, you can expect a school-wide update from  Mr. Keim. This is distributed to families via Bright Arrow and can also be found in the news section of the school webpage. It may be a recap of recent events or a preview of upcoming happenings.

In addition to the above school-wide methods, please communicate openly with your child’s teacher(s). Each teacher has an email address and voice mailbox.  

School Doors:

Just a reminder that we ask for everyone’s support to prevent ‘tailgating.’ While holding the door open for others is a polite thing to do, it can be a security risk in our schools. Please do not hold the door open for others; we kindly ask that all visitors pass through our buzz-in system at the main entrance to the school.
