Dear Miller Mustang Families,

  • Monday, January 17th - No School (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)

Reminder! Morning Arrival - Please do not drop off before 7:10AM
When dropping off your child in the morning, please make sure to pull up to the very end of the sidewalk at the Placentino School loop. We try to fit in as many cars as possible each morning so that we can get students into school safely and on time. Students should be ready with their backpacks, masks, and belongings to exit the vehicle. You do not need to wait for a grownup to open the door of your car in order to exit the vehicle. Please do not pass cars when they are unloading.

Reminder! Contact Tracing
Please refer to the following communication sent out by Dr. Kustka on Monday, January 10, 2022:

  • “At this time, public health departments are no longer notifying close contacts and instead have asked positive individuals to notify their close contacts themselves. Since the start of the pandemic, our nursing and administrative staff have worked diligently and nonstop to contact the families of those who have been identified as close contacts to provide additional support as needed. We will continue to notify families when there are positive cases in classrooms, and people must be monitoring themselves for symptoms on a daily basis. However, given the significant increases, we are unable to trace all close contacts in the manner we have been. Priority for contact tracing will be given to medically fragile/ immunocompromised individuals whenever possible.”

Important Reminders from our Health Office

  • If your child is not feeling well, please do not send them to school. Additionally, please make sure to email the nurse, Mrs. Jordan at jordanm@holliston.k12.ma.us
  • Students should pack 2-3 extra masks to keep in their backpacks. Please remind your child that their mask should be covering their mouth and nose at all times.
  • We encourage students to bring reusable water bottles to school so that they can stay hydrated throughout the day

New! Recess
Students are required to bring boots, snow pants, jackets, hats, gloves, etc. if they wish to play in the snow. However, with today’s cold temperatures, we are having indoor recess.

Lost and Found!
Our lost and found area is filling up! Please be sure to have your child take a look in our lost and found in our main foyer outside the front office if they are missing something. We ask that all items are labeled with your child's first and last name so that in the future, we can return them when found.
