This month we will be collecting cookies and crackers for the food pantry in the Miller lobby. We also welcome other non-perishable items if you have them. All donations will be brought to the pantry at the end of the month. Thank you for giving if you are able to!
Kick off the long weekend with us on Thursday, January 15th! Grab a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a cozy movie night--on us! The event is FREE, and concessions will be available for purchase to support the PTO.
To make Movie Night a success, we'd love your help! Please consider volunteering for part of the event. We also appreciate RSVPs to help with planning (though they're not required--come either way!).
On Saturday, January 17th, help your kids burn off winter energy with a splash at Goldfish Swim School in Milford from 3:15-5:15! Registration is required, and we're grateful to Goldfish Swim School for donating all the proceeds to support the Holliston PTO.
You’re invited to our 2nd Annual PreK-12 Family Service Night on Tuesday, February 3, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Holliston High School.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and participation we saw last year, Family Service Night is returning! Students of all ages and their families are invited to come together for an evening of giving back, spreading kindness, and strengthening our community.
What to Expect:
Hands-on kindness and service activity tables for all ages
Creative projects that spread joy, from cards and crafts to collaborative art
Opportunities to support local animals, and neighbors in need
A shared, feel-good experience that brings families together across all schools
What to Bring:
Admission is FREE! We will be accepting food donations for both the Holliston PantryShelf and the Baypath Humane Society. Each organization’s name links directly to its website with a list of needed items.

In January, our school is focusing on the theme “Be Your Best Self.” This theme connects to our work with RULER, which helps students recognize, understand, label, express, and regulate their emotions. Being your best self means noticing how you are feeling, making thoughtful choices, and using strategies to help yourself learn, grow, and connect with others.
This theme also connects to Martin Luther King Jr. Day, as we reflect on how our actions, words, and choices can make a positive difference in our school and community. Students will learn that being their best self looks different for everyone and can change from day to day—but it always includes kindness, respect, effort, and care for others.
You might ask your child:
“What does being your best self look like for you at school?”
“How do your feelings help you know when you are doing your best?”
“What helps you get back to your best self when something feels hard?”
“How can you be your best self with classmates and teachers?”
“What is one choice you made today that helped you learn or grow?”
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Math Club will be starting for Grade 4 and Grade 5 Miller School students in January. Those who are interested may sign up for either session 1 or session 2 (not both). Sessions will meet in Miller Room 113 after school. There is no fee for this activity.
Both sessions will meet on Monday afternoons from 2:18pm - 3:10 pm. Session 1 will be from January 26th through March 2nd. Session 2 will be from March 9th through April 6th.
The club is designed to enhance critical thinking skills on math concepts and offer our students enrichment activities that will encourage them to use a variety of math manipulatives and technology tools. Although this program is open to all students, those that enjoy math and are interested in its real world applications will benefit most from the program. This is not a remedial math program.
The sessions will accommodate up to 22 students in each group. If we have more than 44 students names will be drawn at random. The Miller Math Club will be supervised by Mrs. Sandy Dowling, Grade 3 and 4 Montessori teacher, and Ms. Christi Phipps, Grade 3 teacher.
Please click here to view the registration form & return the bottom portion by January 16, 2026 to your classroom teacher. On the 21st we will be assigning names for sessions 1 and 2. You will be notified January 22nd of the results. Math Club is a popular activity with the students and fills up quickly. As a result, we will be unable to accept applications received beyond January 16th.
Transportation home is the parents’ responsibility and students must be picked up no later than 3:10 p.m.
