We will be encouraging kindness through meaningful experiences such as participating in the PTO’s Raise Craze fundraiser, completing random acts of kindness, and collecting items to support the Holliston Pantry Shelf. These opportunities help students see how their actions can positively impact others.

Just as important, we will also focus on being kind to ourselves. Through our social-emotional learning curriculum, RULER, students will be learning more about how their brains work, how emotions influence behavior, and strategies for getting through challenges. We will practice self-regulation skills that help students pause, breathe, and reset when things feel hard.

Below, you’ll find a short video that explains how the brain works (including the “lizard brain”) and a simple breathing strategy called square breathing that students can use to calm their bodies and minds. These are tools families can easily try at home as well.

We look forward to a month filled with kindness, compassion, and connection.

The Raise Craze Kindness Fundraiser is finally here - and you don't want to miss it!

Register your student(s) online today, it's quick and easy!. Once registered, use your family portal to track your student's Acts of Kindness (AOK's) and help raise money for the PTO.
